The #Chargers requested an interview with #Giants OC Jason Garrett for their vacant HC job, source said. The former #Cowboys coach is back in the HC interview circuit.

These failures just keep getting jobs. Must be nice. And I don't know why because not many HCs who have sucked at one gig have then been great at the next.

Belichick with the Browns is the example people cite, but there are 100 retreads who didn’t work out for every Bill

Andy Reid sucked with the Eagles?

I’m not a Jason Garrett fan at all, but hiring him will be an upgrade over Anthony Lynn.
1) Garrett isn’t known for his in-game coaching abilities, but how many games did Lynn lose in the past couple of seasons because of his terrible decisions that Garrett could have won?
2) Herbert looks like he’s going to be a great QB. Garrett is largely responsible for the development of both Romo and Dak. Two QBs that have flaws, but came out of nowhere to be Pro Bowl caliber players.
3) In the past 11 seasons, the Chargers have finished 7-9, 8-8, or 9-7 in seven of those eleven seasons.
That fits perfectly with Jason Garrett’s record as a HC. He’s on his way to becoming the next Jeff Fisher. He just needs a couple of more seasons of 8-8 football.

He got fired from there. Never won a super bowl with them.

Yep, it’s amazing how much more successful coaches are when they have a high-end franchise QB for that second go-round!!!

And this is how you wreck a fricking Maserati of a rookie qb.

Right. I like Reid but it took generational talent to get him over the top.

Did he suck somewhere before Philly? Because he was a very good coach that led them to the playoffs very consistently including 4 straight trips to the nfc championship game. Just couldn’t get over the hump. That’s far from sucking.
