Would be interesting because he could have been the HC of LSU at one time. I believe He did “play” LSU to get a bigger contract also. So not sure if this is even a slight possibility. I just know Coach O better knock the next OC hire out the park!

Ill tell you this. Herman will get a call from Bama I bet. People forget that Saban flew Herman down wanted to know his system that beat Bama for the Buckeyes back in the day.

Good leaders don’t worry about history. Leave petty to the past.
Hiring Herman shows that you’re not insecure. That you’ve grown as men.
Neither should have an ego at this point. They could both use each other to become successful.

You're probably right. People take those Bama coordinator jobs to ride Saban's coattails and fast track themselves to another big opportunity just like Sarkisian did.

Sark just ran same offense this year that LSU ran in 2019 and won a title with last year with similar personnel.

I would worry if he was intentionally trying to undermine Ed so he would have a second chance at getting the job. After the way he and his agent used LSU to force Texas' hand, frick him.

Two weeks ago Texas announced Herman was returning, now he is out. Boosters got Sarkisian and forced Herman out. He’s not coming here
