Moved to Fort Worth about a month ago for a new job. Not familiar with the city and I don’t know anyone here. I’m completely starting from scratch.

Wanna buy a house soon so I can quit blowing rent on this apartment but not sure where I should look.

Y’all got any friends around here? I need some friends. On the bright side I love my new job but damn I miss my family back in Louisiana.

Tarrant County went Democrat in 2020 for the first time since 1964. All downhill from here. Congrats

I have a place in Clear Fork. Clean lots of good restaurants and shopping. No crime. Still moving back to Louisiana someday.

Well they just gained a red vote. Maybe that’ll help a bit

This board really reminds me of that episode of South Park where Cartman becomes a NASCAR driver. You frickers eat, drink, and breathe politics. It’s depressing

That didn't that long. You sound like Klark Kent.

OP, chill at Sundance Square for a bit. If you want a house close, you're going to look at higher prices now. Not the same it was 15 years ago for example. Just be patient and prod around. You'll find it.

Can’t help you on a place to live, but get over to Goldee’s BBQ and eat your sorrows away!

Mid 20’s. Got laid off working in the oilfield in the Permian. Had to adjust and get back to the construction grind.

Put your head in the sand. In the history of the US quality of life and safety has never improved when a Republican bastion became a Democrat stronghold.

Amen. I’m so sick of people turning everything into a political issue or statement. There’s more to life than obsessing over red and blue.

When one means crime and the other means safety and prosperity it’s hard to avoid.
