Franklin was LIGHT YEARS better at recruiting at Vandy.
And he had Bob Shoop on defense.

Don't just look at national rankings. The evaluations and roster management were so much better under Franklin. He built a lasting roster product that fed into Mason's only good defense in 2015.

The bottom line there are guys out there right now who are DCs and have been for a few years who have consistently fielded good defenses. There are “Dave Arandas” out there. This Mason DC is just pure laziness. AGAIN.
Get out of your damn comfort zone and do some actual homework and hold more than one interview this time around.
