I am genuinely concerned for you if you have been telling the truth. If you kicked drugs, great. Stop drinking alcohol as well. Find a good women and quit hanging around girls from the past. You will never move on. I say this with the extreme sincerity...move the frick on!

When dealing with serious illness, nothing happens as fast as you'd like. PT is a grind, but you've got to keep grinding.
Try to focus on the small incremental improvements as the accomplishments that they are.
It's hard to deal with the loss of what you had, physically and financially. Sometimes it's really hard. Try not to give up. Things will get better.
