I got a Xbox Series X. Need to know preferences on headsets. I had a HyperCloud for my PC but I doubt it is compatible with console.

Thanks!

Why would it not be compatible? I have HyperCloud Revolver S and it works fine. Just plug into the 3.5mm stereo jack on the controller. I believe it does have USB audio for certain headsets.

If it has a 3.5mm stereo plug you are good to go. My Revolver S has USB or 3.5mm option. Unfortunately the USB audio doesnt work on mine. Maybe they wil fix that in an update. Try Windows Sonic for headphones in the Xbox audio menu. I think it sounds pretty good.

That’s the one I asked for Christmas. It connects wireless with no thing on controller or system, just pairs up.

I returned mine after a week. Constantly disconnected from the xbox mid-game. I did the firmware update and everything. Got myself some Steel series wired and never looked back.

I used to get beaches. I've owned about 5 different pairs. The frames break too easily. I now have a generation 4(black ones) astro a40 "tournament ready" headphones now. You can configure sound on the mix amp using a desktop with the a40 software u can dl from the website. The headsets are very durable. Trust me,you'll thank me later...no turtle beach will beat an a40tr...they are 299.00 but well worth the price by far....

Dont listen to anyone in this thread. Was an astro fanboy for years. Go order phillips shp9500. Then order the vmoda boom mic. Much better headset. Trust me. Carson started the Phillips movement. Then like 5 people has this headset.

Hyperx Cloud Alpha

If you dont already have a Hyperx that works then these are ok.

I have a set that works with my PC and Xbox and they are great.
