I suggest having a heart to heart with her.
I've thought about it, but more times than not she does not get out of line. It's just simple guilt riddled comments...asking what were doing tomorrow when she knows damn well what we do every year. A comment here about how long it's been since she's seen her girl on Christmas day, a comment about what some other members are doing on Christmas day (bigger stuff), slighlty under her breath saying how nice it would be to see us on Christmas day etc. I don't care..I shake it off, but it can rattle my wife sometimes. My parents are divorced so I had to start going through this as soon as I was old enough to decide were I wanted to be for Christmas and in my experience this kinda crap fades over time as people accept you are going to do what your going to do. If it continues or progresses past this a heart to heart will be had for sure. I think there is just a big part of me who can't believe that's needed. You get literally every single holiday while my family gets absolute none, and you have the audacity to ask for more??? She is one of the sweetest people you will ever meet, I love her like she's my mother, even call her mama, but she has the social awareness of a labradoodle and it's very hard for me to get past at times.
