12th overall this year LINK
Last 3 games were excellent. One of, if not the highest the past 3 games at +2.7.

D-Line created the pressure to force TO's

That face screams turnover, doesn't it?

This also says the SEC is tough from a SOS perspective. Neither is true. There are 13 shitty teams and one decent one in the conference this year.
This shite is hilarious. The ONLY reason the SEC SOS is so high is because of WHEN we started. Bama is not great as in the past.

And he still gave up 50 with 6 TO S. HOW IS THAT EVEN POSSIBLE

LSU was +6 against Miss St and Missouri.
In modern football, you win those games easily. As many yards as the defense gave up, the offense absolutely let the team down in those games.
Exhibit A why an offensive overhaul is much more dire than firing Bo Pelini.

You right. How dare the offense for not putting up 70 every week.
They need to make changes to both, but to act like the offense was the bigger problem is ridiculous.

You come in here to piss on a great stat for the defense this year? Pathetic.

There were many times throughout the course of the season and last night’s game where I was comforted knowing that the staff would be overhauled in the end.
Lost to 3 inferior opponents and almost another, all the while winning the turnover battle by a large margin
Both sides of the ball lacked coordination, and overall clock/game management was Miles-level bad

LSU was 5-27 on 3rd down in those 2 losses.
The majority of the team's points came off of defensive TDs and/or short fields from turnovers.
They absolutely did not do their job.
the defense wasnt good either, but they served those games up on a platter for the offense to take, and they couldn't.

To say the defense served up anything on a platter this season is ridiculous. LSU needs changes on both sides of the ball, but if I had to pick just one, it would for sure be defense. The number of WRs that ran 5-10 yards open all season is insane.
On offense, the play calling was lacking at times. The OL took a big step back. The running game rarely got going. There is blame to go around on both sides for sure.

You’re right.
They held them to 50% 3rd down conversion, only allowed an avg of 609 total yards, and a mere 44.5 points.
Pelini really gift wrapped those two games for the offense.
