What? Our 2004 team in no way lost 5 games.

This team doesn’t beat UT early. Get the frick out of here with that shite. This defense was horrible and any QB with a pulse destroys it.

This is correct. And if we would have had a couple of out of conference games to get our feet under us might not have lost to Moo St and Missouri.

It was a bad season and we were lucky to pull out the two wins vs ole miss and florida.

If you're rewriting things, you have to acknowledge that we likely lose to UF

dd 3 free OOC wins. 5-5 SEC schedule is 8-5 at worst. Despite the 5-5 record, solid season. Not ideal, but definitely not bad

NOT wishing away this season either, but if you play those three OOC games, as do others, we beat Miss St and likely Mizzou. Those were bad losses, especially Miss St, no other way to say it.

WIth that said we need to get OUR HOUSE in order. DC is not cutting it and PCG, who was fired in Dallas, brings little to the table.

We were just as close to 7-3 as we were 3-7. Reality is we went 5-5

How? If you say the Mizzou game, I'll counter with the UF game. Auburn blew us out. A&M completely shut our offense down, and none of the other losses were close.

Because you’re coming up with imaginary scenarios based on close games, so you could argue that Mississippi state and Mizzou were both winnable.

State wasn't close. Already covered Mizzou. We also could have easily lost to Ole Miss. We are no where close to 7-3 this year, but I guess it time to start trying to polish this turd of a season.

And a couple inches away from 6-4. Which we might have gotten with Ed Ingram that game

I think we could have beaten Missouri and A&M with Max toting the rock. A 7-3 record finish.

With the massive amount of those who left for NFL, or those who then quit, it’s remarkable such a young team was able to go from abysmal to defeating Florida.

On top of all that, COVID and all the shenanigans involved as far as cancelled games and less practice time than normal

Would not have played two of those SEC games without the expanded schedule, including Mizzou. And would have started with a cream puff instead of Moo State to give them a chance to figure it out. I think this was a 9-3 team without Covid.

Went .500 in conference. Win 3 OOC games but lose to Texas. You’re at basically 7-5; maybe 8-4 if you beat Mississippi State with a full crowd at Tiger Stadium.

It was a non losing season at 5-5. I think coach O gets another year or two at minimum.
