Overall I'm pleased

Considering everything, it's a good class so far. Our current freshmen class is loaded and getting experience and this class will be top 4-8. I hope O can finish it strong. I really liked getting the juco LB, he can probably play day 1. Btw...will Cox get an extra year cause of covid?

Cox can come back and is considering it. As for the class, I agree, there is a lot to like here and we are in still in it for some key recruits.

Solid class. We may be set at QB for a few years. The defensive line too.

This class was just above a disaster. Terrible finish 3 years in a row, and Raesjon Davis hasn’t officially decommitted yet. Ensminger, linehan, cregg, Pellini, Johnson, and Busch all need to be shown the door. I’m also leaning on getting rid of Mickey as well after losing Earle, Jarrett, and Burton over the last 2 years.

I don't believe there is much difference in the 1-5 or so recruiting classes.
And 1-10 there is a difference, but it's not huge.
Attrition, development, meeting needs, roster management, etc., are just as important.
Identification and recruitment of transfers has become increasingly important.
If you are recruiting in the Top 10 and have good roster management and development, and fill the occasional hole with a solid transfer, you can compete for a conference title, and therefore a national title.

This is a great class, but.......we need OL.
I think our next successful run will begin when we can pass block much better than currently do and not give up sacks.
These QB's, Receivers and RBs CAN be great, but they have to get the QB enough time to get stroking again.
This will set up our running game and then we can concentrate on being better balanced.
