85 is perfect. All your doing is allowing programs that are not P5 type schools to get better players. Why should LSU and SEC schools try to help for example, ULM, LA Tech, Tulane and ULL. They shouldn't.

I wouldn't mind a cap of 55 or so but with much less restictions on who can sign. Just require there to be 55 total at certain times during the year like Aug 1 or Mar 1 to prevent over signing and allow schools to sign whoever they want.

You are entitled that opinion. The sport is fine. There are plenty of schools to go play for. I could care less about ULL or ULM's football program. As a taxpayer of the State of Louisiana, I am more worried about them meeting their education obligations to the State of LA.

I don't like subsidizing ULL, or ULM's football program anymore than I like subsidizing misguided Federal Programs any any form, Corporate or Social welfare.

Simple solution is that any non-graduate transfer counts towards the 25. Grad transfers are limited to 3 or 5.

It’s not that hard. Also, if you are a bad evaluator or and arse as a coach that pushes his to leave, you shouldn’t get to use this system to make up for it.
