Fetus avoiding abortion
Child molested by relatives
Teen uses drugs to numb the pain
Adult being beaten by lover
Mother so addicted to drugs and hurt by life that it overrides the strongest human urges to protect their own baby.
Why is it that the hurt children’s needs we care so much about are thrown out the window as adults, pushed to be outcast of society.
Imagine if this child grew up to have a child of their own, what are the chances she does something similar.

What? Are you somehow implying that we should have compassion for this idiot who killed her own baby? If so, you are just a stupid and idiotic as she is. She deserves to rot in prison for the rest of her life. Not compassion.

Compassion is not leniency, she can have consequences, and we can still want to know why she ended up the way she did, if only to prevent it from not happening again. Things like this are only becoming more prevalent.
