Put themselves out there on the field and take all the risks associated with that two more times than Ohio State did, qualify for the Big 10 title game based on the rules laid down by the conference (rules Ohio State agreed to) only to be screwed out of their spot.
Ridiculous
Everyone else in the big10 should realize it's OSU and a bunch of other schools. Either take charge or leave.

Just like there wasn't ANY discussion when you lost yoir division yet they still selected you over a team whom beat you.
There actually wasn't because OSU didn't go INSTEAD of Penn State, Washington did. OSU was clearly the #3 team in 2016 based on road wins at Big 12 champ OU and @ top 10 Wisconsin along with beating a top 5 Michigan.
The committee wasnt debating OSU or Penn State, it was debating Penn State or Washington. Penn State lost 2 games that season, if they hadn't lost to Pitt the B1G would have been the first conference with 2 teams in I'm pretty sure.

They also got their asses handed to them by Michigan.

We wanted to play a full schedule starting in August.
No y'all didn't. Ryan Day was talking about how his team may not feel comfortable going on the road because so many schools in your conference have terrible facilities. Punk made

This is not an Ohio State problem.
This is a Big 10 and CFP Committee problem. The Big 10 screwing the season because of the COVID protocols, and the CFP committee STILL giving a team with 5 games played valid consideration over teams that have played 9/10 games against much tougher schedules is fricking stupid.

Yep, the CFP should not consider this at all regardless of what the big10 does.

A&M has beat one ranked team, and also lost a game. Hate to break it to ya, the CFP committee would likely put an undefeated OSU ahead of them even if they didn’t qualify for the B1G championship and had to play Iowa

Well, they haven’t done this yet, so I’ll save my melt. But I’ll make my annual mini-melt about how they’ve set themselves up for this by insisting on choosing the “best” team instead of “more deserving.” At least the latter attempts to be somewhat objective, while the former is 100% subjective. We never know who “the best” team is. That is literally why they play the fricking games.
And I don’t think there’s much of an argument for a 6-0 Ohio State being more “deserving” than a 9-1 A&M. “Best” gives them the pussy-arse, safe wiggle room they will almost assuredly take to let them in. And I don’t even blame Ohio State. It’s the playoff committee.

I’m not going to get into this, but the other teams in the playoff would be thrilled if A&M was in there over OSU. Fields is a guy who can take over a game. He wasn’t healthy last year in the playoffs

You might be right but that’s not the issue.
What they mostly likely are going to do if OSU wins the Big 10 Title, they are saying we want 4 best teams AKA 4 Most talented teams.
I’m not arguing OSU is better or worse than A&M.
But A&M is a power 5 school that has accomplished more and has proven more than OSU has this year.
They are setting a very dangerous precedent that will even further diminish the CFB regular season.
