Coach O doesn't negotiate employment contracts; that falls on the AD's shoulders. Financial terms that only benefit the employee should be replaced with a more sensible base pay with lots of performance incentives. Everyone wins.

Let's also not forget that Canada was the top OC in the country that year, the only OC nominated to the Broyles list. He was just unlikable.
