I’ve lived in Lafayette a while back & I’m certain they are loving life right now. A lot of LSU hate in that neck of the woods so I’m sure they are reveling in being the best football program in the state. It’s been a long time coming for them and I feel fairly certain they would relish the thought of being able to beat LSU in a nationally televised bowl game. Jordy Cullota mentioned that if that would happen, it would be a pick-em game as far as the spread.

With Marshall opting out, the spread would be within a touchdown.

Last year, we turned the ball over 5 times against Mississippi State and lost by 10. This LSU team is very similar to them. It would be a close game right now.

You do realize UL is also in the Sun Belt right? You guys are acting like UL is an SEC power taking advantage of the Sun Belt lol.

It wouldn't. I like UL but the Cajuns are a few plays away from being like 5-4 in a pretty bad conference. The Iowa State win was mostly due to their special teams and Brock Purdy shitting the bed: UL just had that one long TD pass and two kick returns until running on them towards the end.

Are you fricking retarded? Having a stroke maybe? Dude, the talent gap alone is not overcomable for App State or ULL

The conference has had 3 teams ranked in the Top 25. For a G5, that’s actually impressive. Also, whether the Iowa state win was due to ST or not, the team dominated in all three phases.

Let’s face it. If Troy can do what they did to LSU in 2017, it’s not out of the realm of possibility for it to happen this season. I’m not saying that it would, but Sun Belt schools have defeated SEC teams in the past.

Not being able to run against auburn and atm, is not the same as ull being able to run against sun belt teams.

If you aren’t one of those “diehards” then why do you always start Ragin Cajun game preview threads on the MSB? Stop discussing them if you hate them and their fans so much.

It was a joke, I find the relationship between the two fanbases' more butthurt elements highly amusing
