A bill to remove federal penalties on marijuana and scrap some cannabis-related records will receive a vote on the House floor in December, according to House Majority Leader Steny Hoyer
People with common sense will probably be happy about this even though it will die in the senate because of old man Mitch.

Can’t wait till Louisiana finally gets it right and legalizes it in the year 2080

Friend,
Let’s hope this bill is swiftly defeated. I continue to contact my Congress person urging that person to keep all bars closed as well as push for the end of alcohol sales in our state. We would be a far greater state if our citizens were chaste, sober, and saw the benefit of the good life.
Yours,

States with a big forestry products industry will not rush into it.

It'll be sooner than that. As soon as the politicians figure out how to enrich themselves it'll happen.

Friend,
Where in the Bible is there a prohibition against alcohol? I am a Teetotaler for philosophical and economic reasons, as is Donald Trump.

Be real. You are just waiting on the incest laws to be repealed before you descend into a hedonistic state with Mother.

The saddest thing about Mitch likely killing this Bill is that his home state would greatly benefit from it.

shite, that's easy, tax it like you do tobacco. If legalized, I could see tobacco companies expanding into that market and subsequently providing millions in tax dollars by producers and consumers.

Him and old shite Pelosi are so pathetic. Can't even get unemployment assistance done.

Eventually they will control marijuana. They will buy up everyone and it will be about 5 big companies or so

As soon as big tobacco gets on board they will all fall in line.....I'm honestly surprised it hasn't already happened with the declining sales in tobacco over the last decade.

This is the weakest legalization argument out there. Anything that raises revenue for the feds and makes the feds bigger is inherently a bad idea.
It's a plant. It should have never been illegal.
