Well Bama is able to sell that they are going to get them to the nfl but also are able to sell them on representing Alabama and finishing what was started.
Seems like our players could care less about LSU once they get here. They could give two shits about finishing what they started. They all about that money and getting the nfl whether they are projected 1st round picks or undrafted free agents.
We obviously get juniors to return but NEVER on the level of players like Leatherwood, Smith and Etienne.
Hell we can’t even get good draft eligible sophomores to return.

Yeah the culture of pride in playing for Alabama may be directly linked to the culture of winning. I guess an expectation that you're going to kick everybody's arse and win championships and its up to the next class to keep that going. They don't get everybody to return, there's plenty of early draft declarations but they always seem to have a few key players that decide to return when they're projected as early round picks.

So why were they not able to sell Tua, Ruggs, Jeudy, Willis and McDaniel? All “didn’t finish what they started" last year?
