Regardless of how you feel, I think it is just important to realize that LSU could get in trouble if you were acting as a "booster" when you communicated with someone online. The recruits are aware (or are being made aware) that they are not supposed to engage in this activity.

I think it stinks, but what are you going to do about it? This isn't LSU's rule. It is the NCAA's rule.

Chicken, are you sure this is legit? It's very poorly written for a notice coming out of an academic institution.

Further, if a recruit chats online with a schoolmate, and the schoolmate tells him he should go to LSU, is the schoolmate now a Booster, and the communication is instantly illegal? This makes no sense.

If his little brother sends him an email telling him to go to LSU, is his little brother now a Booster?

AD of Compliance?

I don't know. It all sounds very fishy to me.

Typical. This is one of the most ridiculous, backwards, unenforcable pieces of excrement that I've ever seen. Only a Democrat could have come up with something like this!

Hey, I can't wait until NSD! I haven't been able to speak with my son, my neighbors or the checkout boy at Albertsons for months because I'm an LSU fan and they're all considering the Tigers!

Crazy.

By the way, rantards, I don't really have a son who's old enough to attend LSU. When he is old enough, unless he gets into Harvard Med or something, he'd better be in P&G.
