Is every campus in your Hospital System full with half being COVID patients? Or did they designated your campus to be the main COVID campus as to reduce possible exposure to staff at multiple locations.

No. It’s primarily because of the population we serve however. The other hospital doesn’t transfer simply because someone is Covid positive. We were heaviest hot in the area the first time. Seems to be trending that way again.

If it is so critical, what are you doing on a message board?

Get back to work to help save lives, hero.

Did you read the thread sport? Don’t think it’s “so critical”.

Our hospital is completely full right now. Half are Covid. I am as over this shite as anyone else but some of you are fricking stupid.

So there are 885 hospitalized Covid pts in the state. What hospital are you in that is full with 1/2 from Covid?

Some CAH out in BFE with 20 beds?

Not really. We have entire sections closed right now because we can get the Nursing staff to cover them.

That means there is nursing shortage.

Now is the time to be a nurse. Can make bank. Our hospital had a poster up the other day that was offering like 3k to anyone that can refer them an ER or ICU nurse

Offering travel contracts for 7k a week. Most of that is tax free. Some Texas hospitals were offering 10k a week not long ago

. I wish MSM and Big Government would do a better job of getting that point across.

That wouldn't cause enough fear amongst the populace.

No, they're not.

But ICU's are. 80% is the goal, which is funny because the media keeps saying "ICU's are almost 80% full!" and I keep thinking to myself "I bet the operators are pumped!"

I’m not going to doxx you here but you have given out a ton of info. The number of beds, the corporation you work for, the departments you oversee and the city size being greater than 1 million. That is too much info on a site like this. This is how healthcare workers lose their jobs. I would delete your posts.

To the RN's and Dr.s I have a question. My Pops is 84 and has been in the hospital for Covid since Sat. Last I heard he was still just getting O2 and regular meds (acetaminaphin, etc.) With his condition remaining basically the same for this entire period (No better, no worse)at what point should we expect them to administer Remdesivir so that he can upgrade and be released? (If it does what it should I will add)

I'll hang up and listen
