First of all, I love Dave and I get why he wanted to try his hand at head coach.

But, had he stayed here for another year or 2, he would've gotten an NFL DC job at the least (with a nice opportunity to progress in pay and position). As calculated as he is, I think he made a mistake. I do wish him the absolute best.

Not all coordinators are meant to be HC’s. Look at the likes of Chavis, Muschamp, etc....

You think he would chose a college HC position when NFL DC is what he ultimately aspired to?

Speaking of, I think Muschamp should be #1 on our wish list for DC when Pelini bites the dust

So our fans think Aranda is a main reason O won last season but Aranda also is an awful head coach. Makes sense.

Aranda looks clueless on the sideline
Some are better suited as coordinators
He gets a pass this season with covid but they may be worse next year without brewer

Aranada is good not great. I went to the LSU VS. Wisconsin game in Greenway, and watch Wisconsins D smash us without Aranda. He is good, not great. His D was in the 30's last year with NFL tent all over the place

I would say the defense was borderline great towards the end of the season.

And when your offense is humming, like it was last year and has this year, average would be plenty good enough.

Lol I don't think Baylor cares about this season. Most ppl don't, just emotion-driven fans

He inherited a pretty good team. That excuse doesn’t hold water. This season is a dumpster fire, I’ll give you that, but skill isn’t the issue

You guys are weird. LSU is a shite show right now and you're throwing rocks at another program?

Nobody is holding this season over Aranda's head. He's trying to navigate through his first season in the middle of a pandemic.
