My son has gone thru bibs as he’s now 15 and keeps outgrowing them season after season.
What do you use or recommend?

Academy if he's still growing. I use Artic Shield myself and really like them.

Rivers West Ambush Bibs with the Ambush jacket.
Very comfortable, warm and waterproof. Highly recommend

I find insulated bibs to be bulky . I layer accordingly with quality longjohns .

In the boat I use Simms. Like waders, you get what you pay for.

I like to hit Academy in February when all camo is discounted. I buy jackets, clothes, boots that are too big, so kid can grow into them next season. One year I got $150 snake boots for $11.... $100+ kids' hunting jacket for less than $20.

What will he need them for?
I have a pair of Scentlok Hydrotherm bibs for deer hunting. I have been very happy with them. They are super light to pack in an out and are plenty warm. LINK
I have Hardcore Waterfowl Finisher bibs for ducks and everything else. They are truly waterproof and extremely warm. Their warmth is amazing given their lack of bulk. LINK
I have never heard a bad word about Rivers West either.
All the ones I mentioned are on the high end though. My Dad never bought be anything close to that. I spent my late teens and early 20's in a set of Remington bibs from Walmart. The Academy and Field an Stream store brand bibs seem very nice, especially for the price. I would have to imagine they would hold up as well as 1996 Remington walmart bibs.
