Still can’t believe this place is still open. It’s taken a massive nose dive in quality

They closed in May. Pretty sure they cited Caronavirus, but I highly doubt that was the reason. Not sure what was, but I feel like there has to be a story behind it.
Yeah, something is odd with the way that went down.
Looks like Rum House NOLA went through a reno and the owner had a new Mclaren (720?) parked out front so not sure it was a strictly financial decision.

Sounds like they had a chance to get out of their lease and they took it.
A lot of places that are still financially viable here in Austin are doing the same as the immediate future is too uncertain.

Since when? I haven’t been in 3 or so years. Is it recent?

I haven't been in years. I went there for brunch one day and it was an absolute shite show. I've been told they removed the all you can drink mimosas since then but it seemed like half the people in there were fall down drunk.

They are still going -- or were as of a few weeks ago. Just went up slightly in price, but only by like $1-$2. Still a good deal.
Olive has been chosen as the spot to Sunday day drink by an interesting crowd for whatever reason, but I don't blame them for just embracing it. I know I would. Most everywhere else is dead on a Sunday once brunch ends, so I imagine its still a win for them. Most people there order food, which offsets the bottomless.

All of this. It’s awful.

Bottomless mimosas went up from $10 to $12 and now $16. Crowd has gotten better.

I had lunch at Olive or Twist today. It was great.

And it quickly becomes a ghost town minutes after the all you can drink ends..I haven’t been in a while but yes pretty loud crowd

I’ve been going to curbside for brunch. Not a huge crowd, heavy champagne pours on the mimosas, and a good if limited menu.

Maybe for an hour or two, but Sunday evenings aren't bad the past few times I've been. Certainly busier than any other bar.

I went a couple Sundays ago and it was great. Perfect weather, and you're right the mimosa pours are massive. I think bottomless was only $10 too. But they aren't as at risk of a rowdy crowd being that they're family focused, so they can do $10 bottomless without worry.

Yup $10. If you drink four it’s about two bottles of bubbly
