trying to lure this as they were planning on moving it out of Lubbock, Texas?
I know former Tiger Patrick Coogan was involved and was organizing a lot of people to get this off the ground.
Never heard anything since though.

Didn't even know this existed.
But Baton Rouge would be a much better place for it than Lubbock

Our politicians couldn’t even get out of their own way to get a free tire shredding facility, so safe to say this is a pipe dream

I remember before COVID he was on AFR with Moscona and indicated they already had a place lined up to house it but he wouldn't say where until things were finalized.
The last induction ceremony was in Baton Rouge as Ronnie Rantz emceed it with Lyn Rollins. It's when they inducted Mike Martin not long after they won Baton Rouge regional.

A college baseball hall of fame belongs in Omaha, NE if its going to be anywhere.

I don't think Omaha had any interest
Similar to Lubbock it's too far out of the way for any visitors to make it to
You need to put it somewhere to generate some interest and visitors.

I'm sure they want funds from the city or possibly the state as an incentive lure but doubtful that happens

Lubbock is in the middle of nowhere and is a bigger shithole than Baton Rouge.
More people would visit it in Baton Rouge

It could go to Atlanta like the college football hall of fame

Hey, those tire shredding guys that own the current facilities are like the mafia. You just don't know.

I hope they can't track you down. You might want to sell any horses you own.

These are two very different types of shitholes. Lubbock is no paradise, but let’s just say your odds of getting murdered, robbed, or carjacked are much lower.

Fair enough. Lubbock is more of a bleak and desolate shithole while Baton Rouge is more of a murdery stabbey shithole

I don't usually care for all the BR hate on here but this made me laugh.

And get destroyed in riots like the college football HOF.

I would think Kansas City or St.Louis would be better places.

This is the only answer. Anyone that has been there knows.
