Would be hilarious to see him pair up with giannis after their beef
Miami has the assets, but I don't think Jimmy Buckets wants to deal with Harden.

Yea you can write a book with all the stuff that came out in the last month. I am eager to embrace a new franchise, they will get a haul back for sure, so I will have 2 Teams. Hopefully he goes to the East so I can have a squad in each conference.

In a self-authored story on The Players Tribune, Miami Heat star Jimmy Butler says he thinks most NBA players would identify Kevin Durant or LeBron James as the league’s most unstoppable current player. However, Butler’s choice is Houston Rockets guard James Harden. In his analysis, Butler explains what makes Harden so tough: Step-back. Floater. Euro step. He has so much in his package, and he’s always hitting tough shots. In Butler’s view, it all starts with that renowned step-back jumper. His whole attack is built off that step-back. He hangs the ball out there and teases you with it, and then he waits for you to make a move. He’s reading you. Whatever you decide to do, he’s got a counter for it. Because if you give him too much space, he’s gonna take the step-back, and probably make it. If you get too close to him — if you try to get up into him and take the shot away — he’s either going to lean into you and draw a foul or blow right by you and take it to the basket. He’s one of those guys you game plan for. Like you go into the game saying, ‘We’re not gonna let James drop 40 on us.’ And he still drops 40 on you. That’s the mark of an unstoppable player.

Bucks have to be regretting the Jrue trade right now.

That was the Rockets’ Plan A, and they were optimistic that they’d be able to pull it off as free agency neared, based on Butler’s discussions with Harden. Then, according to a team source, Butler “ghosted” them, not returning calls and texts before he agreed to a deal with the Miami Heat.
Seems like butler would at least have enough respect to pick up the phone or reply to s text when a player like harden reaches out, right WBB?

Can Jon Lucas save the day?
wow that would be something. Back when O needed rehab for alcoholism, Jon took him in and never did ask him for any money. What a guy.

Harden has been non-communicative with the front office at times, sources say, but has maintained a dialogue with Rockets assistant coach John Lucas. He is expected to have a workout in front of Rockets personnel soon, according to sources. … For now, the Rockets and Harden are together again and moving toward the upcoming season. Houston’s perfect world scenario is a Harden-led roster racing to a strong start, reinvigorating his belief in the franchise as a championship threat.

Stephen Silas said he's looking forward to getting James Harden on the court and building a relationship with him. "It's moving in the right direction and it's very good."
