Interesting.

Quality deer management combined with land that has good nutrition. Rize's property is in South Texas, not far from the King Ranch and an hour from Mexico. Low fence and they don't run cattle so the deer have free range to eat browse, forbs year round. He lets em grow old to 6+ years, and doesn't shoot 4-yr old deer that are 135-140". He's been managing the property for almost 10 years and the genetics are improving big time. Wouldn't be surprised if they shoot a 160-170" deer in the next few years. They've already killed several 150" deer. The dude has patience and is doing it right. 9 hour drive one-way and many years he doesn't shoot a buck.

^^^^ That’s a good deer but it looks 4.5 to me. What’s y’all’s thoughts?
