O sounded pretty unsure about Myles being able to play and I believe him. He’s not playing and it wouldn’t shock me if he didn’t play until maybe the Florida game if at all. Any ab injury is painful and effects everything you do from throw to breathe. I know we have TJ lovers and I think he has lots of potential but facts are facts. Our offensive line is like shitting diarrhea through a screen door and TJ is less than mobile let’s say. If you play that kid you’ll either get him killed or you’ll kill his confidence fir good because they will eat him alive. At least Max has a fighting chance staying on the run. He’s not going to light the world on fire or even have a good game himself but at least cover for the sorry pieces of shite we call an offensive line a little better.

We put Myles our there vs Bama he’s getting stretchered to the hospital by the 2nd Quarter

Season is already over there’s absolutely no reason risking even more injury to him

I can almost guarantee you they'll both play vs Bama

Without a doubt and that’s not fair to Myles. He deserves the chance to heal and the first shot to his midsection he will be done. I’m sure O plans on playing both freshmen but it’s just not wise in this case. Max is the easy call for this defense. He showed he has very good wheels against Auburn and he’s a bright kid that can get the ball out fast. He doesn’t have TJ’s arm but the OL isn’t going to give the QB time to throw down the field.

TJ needs time. He looked jeffesonesque out there. He was always a project, glad he’s coming along but Bama would destroy him and his confidence for good.

It doesn't matter who plays QB if the line plays like they did against Auburn.

Yeah I think it’ll be a while before TJ sees the field again. Every ball he throws is too fast and too easily tippable. And he can’t run. I wouldn’t mind red zone packages or bringing him in for QB sneaks.

TJ is better than Max at this point. No slight on Max, but TJ has the arm.

We do not have RBs fast enough to run the Wishbone.

TJ may have a better arm, but he is a statue.

He overthrew a ball and it got picked. The fumble was him trying to do too much rather than just taking the sack. The tipped pick from a 6'6 QB was just bad luck.

He had some nice passes and drives otherwise and we dropped a few passes (he needs to work on his long ball though). He got zero help from the running game or O-line. He certainly looked like more than just a "project" against South Carolina who beat Auburn the week before Finley picked them apart. Also, the fact that Saban wanted him says that he is more than just a project.

Are people under the impression that Bama’s defense is good this year because they aren’t.

Agree Max is better runner. Also, both TJ and Max have impressive poise for true freshman. LSU needs to be a little more creative in their run game to help these freshman QB’s.

Sure

Max isn’t exactly Cam Newton though. He’s faster but not elite speed and he’s not a huge guy either.

Since when does that matter?
