Hey Tiger fans,

Many of you have previously been very helpful with advice for me and some buddies (mainly west coasters) coming to experience Tiger Stadium for the UGA game on 10/25. We've got flights, hotel rooms and a car so now we just need tickets to the damn football game. The ebay market is bleak, stubhub is looking like $250 for an upper level seat. Will these prices likely drop or go up once the season starts? If we decide to risk it and buy tix on campus are there people selling the day of the game? Can't wait to meet some of you as we experience the legendary atmosphere in Baton Rouge. We'll be decked out in UCLA, USC, Nebraska, Wisconsin and Alabama gear. Feel free to give some extra heckling to the USC and Alabama jerkoffs in our group. . .

I would seriously advise against wearing USC or Alabama gear inside of Tiger Stadium for a game involving neither of those teams. I don't think you'll see ticket prices go way up closer to the game, $250 per seat is pretty steep and you'll certainly find that closer to game time. If all the rantards are correct and Georgia is "way overrated" than UGA will have a couple of losses and LSU has to play at Auburn, at Florida, and at USC before this game too. If both teams have a couple of losses tickets may actually be cheaper than you'd imagine.

really? my experience with other major sporting events like World Series, BCS games, etc. is that prices drop as game gets closer. If a huge game in Tiger Stadium doesn't follow that trend then maybe we are better off paying $250 right now and securing seats. . .

Every sporting event follows that trend. Prices are jacked up now and as game time gets near and all these brokers and places like StubHub have tons of tickets left, prices go down because they want to get rid of them. They are so expensive now because they are trying to sell a few at insane prices based on preseason hype. If you're patient, you'll find much cheaper tickets.

wear your team colors man.

try outside the stadium, you can always get them there. no telling what the scalpers will want though. depending on how many you need, you may get split up ex. 2 north endzone 2 upper deck. in this case sit in the north endzone and have the night of your life

Wear your teams colors and enjoy the scenery/food/beer. As long as you can take a little "tigerbait" ribbing you'll be just fine.

As for tickets - It is risky to say to wait until gametime - If LSU and GA are both undefeated at the time they play the tickets will skyrocket - if LSU has the losses tickets will go down a bit - but it is better to secure them now if you are wanting to sit together.

Check out the marketplace on LINK

Season ticket holders can sell their tickets on there. May not be available until closer to the start of the season.

If you plan on finding tickets gameday for a reasonable price, I would wear some lsu shirts over your teams gear.

I don't forsee a Bama and USC fan getting a fair shake. But after you get your tickets, feel free to lose the shirts; so, you can be properly tigerbaited.

$250 is high now, but if both teams have good records going into the game, there will be zero tics for sale outside the stadium on gameday.

wearing USC and Bama stuff is a BAD idea. We hate both of those teams with a passion, so i'd not be seen with those two.

Also, get in the lower bowl endzones if you can to get a "true" TS experience. I doubt you can really get it in the upper decks....

wait until about a hour until kickoff, and you'll find cheap tickets.

wouldn't wear the USC or bama clothes.

not a good idea.
