Myles never once had a decent running game
Maybe our running game under TJ was better because the defense knew TJ was an actual threat to run and had to allocate defenders for that threat, whereas Brennan was always going to handoff.

They werent though, rewatch the game.
I'd argue that the entire reason Finley had success running the ball was because they weren't respecting him enough which makes sense based on a lack of mobility being the major knock on him coming out of high school.

How would they know that? Did he run in HS.
What did he have, twenty yards in the game? Johnson had almost that in one run.
He was good because he was calm in the pocket and we had a running game.

Or maybe the coaches didn't want Brennan to run because there wasn't a backup on the bench with any experience. At least he finished the game and gave the staff a week (actually 2) to prepare the freshman. Hopefully this will open the RPO for Brennan to showcase himself more.
