The administrations claim is that an emergency declaration is required to get money based on the Stafford Act. So if we cancel the order we no longer qualify. Congressman Graves' office has refuted that notion saying that we are not at risk of losing federal funding if we cancel the emergency declaration. Those states still have emergency orders, they have just moved on to opening more of their economy up under those orders. Some of them never had a state mask mandate such as Florida for example.

I wish someone, ANYONE would come out and just preach about/berate Guv Roberto that this Federal money he's so in love with is OUR tax money.
And that he is ripping up lives and businesses while still taxing them in hopes of him and his cronies getting paid for whatever that Federal money goes to. That he is telling all of us frick you, I'll ruin you while I ignore the corporations, that I pick the winners and losers, that I am king and I'll spit in your face and then pay you a pittance that I just had the tax man take from you to enrich my crony business buddies with Federal payouts.
