We ran zone read Saturday night. There was even a fumble from that “mesh point” as your link describes.

There are 3 zone read plays on the first drive alone from the link you provided.

An RPO can be a read option... teams run it all the time. You run read option off the end, then the qb can either run or pitch it out to a screen on the edge.

LOL.
Tiger lunatic. Doesnt even know whats being argued.
Uh, we are not arguing whether we called zone reads.
We are arguing whether our QB runs were from RPO’s which made folks flip their shite. Said it was all zone reads.
I said what the WR’s are doing determines whether it was RPO or not. Simple.
Secstatcat.com confirms that these wb runs were RPO’s.
Not one is listed as a qb run zone read.

Anyone watching the game that knows anything about football knows I’m right. Even the commentators talked about the exchange and how Finley needs to be more decisive so the RB knows whether he gets it or it’s a keeper.

RPO rate by QB by TigerLunatik
I mean the guy said we ran the zone read and you told him that he was wrong.
WRONG.
He said the qb runs that are listed as RPO’s by secstatcat.com were zone reads. They were not.
Thats why theyre listed as qb RPO runs.
We ran two qb RPO runs with Max Johnson also. 6 total qb runs from the RPO.
But this asswipe is saying they were zone reads.
Now why dont you see if you can find a play where the qb ran it and it was a zone read play? Just an FYI we didnt.

Let me ask you this. In an NFL game, can a player line up at TE wearing #22?

Lol again, this debate has been about what playset were in when the QB ran the ball.

I can and I even posted evidence of exactly what you said. I'm not gonna try to interpret it. shite, on the previous page you said a QB run was a handoff. How am I supposed to decipher what you really mean?

We are definitely agreeing. It is a really fun concept to tinker with and find different ways to attack a defense.
Just most ranters don’t understand the concept so they see a young QB execute it and think he’s out preforming a veteran that is going through full professions with 4/5 options and 4/5 reads before pulling the trigger. It’s kind of funny really. All because some ESPN blow hard, who probably hadn’t watched much LSU football, makes up a QB controversy.

This is one of the plays you think is an RPO run by Finley
That’s so obviously a qb power too. It’s not an option at all.
Man I’ve gotta give it to Slinger. That motherfricker is pulling guards and tackles on RPOs now fricking genius

This is
Again, very clearly a draw play from the onset & the way Hines seals down on the tackle to create the running lane for Finley.
WRs run the DBs off
OTs allow the ends to get upfield
Now do they go to the line with 2 plays? Possibly. The whole offense looks to the sideline pre snap. That does not make it an RPO.
But it is very clearly set up to be a QB draw.

I think we finally found the bottom of tRant. Congrats on outing yourself as the dumbest motherfricker in a barrel full of stupid. Damn. Just damn.

They were definitely not RPOs and they weren’t read options. They were designed QB draws. The tell tail sign is the runs went inside or the same direction as the RB. The PA to the RB is just intended to get the defense flowing one direction in hopes a linebacker gets hung up in traffic. There was no pass option. Receivers running routes does not always equal a pass option. In fact, particularly if the run is inside, they’ll run routes in hopes of pulling the safety out of the play.

Bu the way LEarl. Snap 24 drive 2 IS a RPO as the site indicates, not a zone read. Bwgahahahahah.
Its a qb RPO as is indicated on secstatcat.com.
Way to screen shot half the screen. LOL.
Marshall clearly ran a route on the play. He was the hot route/pop pass on this QB run RPO. He sprints out takes a jab step and turns inside, for a skinny post.
17 was mcmath, and he just ran a lazy as 9 route. He knows he isnt getting the rock.
Lol at the stupidity of you assholes.
We literally have a website that saya what play was run on the QB runs, and you IDIOTS STILL are arguing.
HILARIOUS.

Your screenshots are complete garbage as is your analysis.
Drive 1 snap 7 - Marshall runs a out route the flats while Mcmath runs a 9 route.
Meaning it was a qb run RPO as secstatcat.com says.
Youre an IDIOT.
LOL!!!!!!!!!!!!
Going back to watch MNF now morons!
Bye bye

You twerps can agree with each other all you want. Doesnt mean that we werent clearly running QB Run RPO’s on those QB runs, not matter HOW MUCH you want to CRY about it.
fricking earl is over here screen shotting, trying to say the WR’s werent running pass route these qb runs, despite the fact that they were OBVIOUSLY running pass routes!!!
