When you want to preach equality in the US while turning your eye to abuses of China, the NBA deserves every criticism it gets. Completely hypocritical league.

Love the NBA as a product. Too bad the morons playing the game won’t just shut up and dribble.

NBA wil be fine long term. They accepted this when the bubble was created.
Will be extremely curious to see how true this is with next years revenue.

I seriously doubt it cost them $200 million for the Disney bubble. Disney has a vested interest in the NBA’s success with ESPN overpaying for television rights.
What’s funny is everyone claiming that the NBA is the most international of the Big 4, which I am not going to dispute (find it interesting that they have yet to have a single regular season game outside of the US and Canada but that’s another story), but their revenues can’t compete with MLB and the NFL more than doubles it up and that’s before the new tv contracts which are going to push the NFL in the $20 billion range.
Keep in mind that ESPN is constantly whining about MLB not marketing stars over teams (what kinda arse backwards pageantry is that?) and American football being in its infancy internationally - how many other nations have anything resembling American football at a pro, semi-pro, college, or high school level?
Despite all that, the NFL has more revenue alone then the top 6-7 soccer leagues COMBINED.

In the words of Mr. Perfect, the NBA defenders don’t like facts.

I'm not really trying to compare or argue about other sports.
You can't say you expected 2.5 billion in revenue and end up with 1 billion and not call it a loss. (just an example I don't know the actual projected revenue)
Even if the bubble didn't cost 200 million it still cost them money that they would not get back in revenue. If the pels spent 200 million to host games and then made 0 money from revenue, yeah that kinda plays a part.

Freak the NBA - how they all go broke

I hope they have such a fricked up financial situation, they don’t know what to do. It would be funny if the rest of the players not named LeBron just turn on him like circling sharks.

the only thing they would do is drop the wnba. you ppl are funny lol

And the people who are okay with cops killing and paralyzing black people are upvoting this.
Buts it’s just “our M.O.” to imply that you are racists.

The NBA will not be woke next year you can bet on that. But it will be too late most are done with them anyway. And for your information it's not because nba is mostly black, it's because people don't wanna hear lies about USA that we all know aren't true and said as fact.
