You're saying you can't enjoy it, even if it is really funny, because it's only picking on your guy.
This country is losing it's sense of humor.
Jokes aren't funny when there's only ever one target.

People who can't laugh at themselves are the worst.
"Trump fans" should laugh at this as well.
Except it isn't funny to video someone in the bedroom and then run in and pretend they're doing something they're not. It's also not funny to then misrepresent that interaction to make it look worse than it actually was.

That much is true, but I'm not sure what that has to do with things that clearly aren't funny.

The jokes are only funny to you when you aren’t the target
Which just means you aren’t funny. Big difference

Rudy must've agreed to something...I mean he's the POTUS attorney...I mean he took on the Mafia.
If he signed some bullshite release and got duped
I mean he signed to do an interview (that’s the “duped” part, not vetting who was interviewing him)
the chick “flirting” with him with cameras rolling and then untucking his shirt is just a setup
taking that one still screenshot and putting it in a Tweet with the implications they did (Rudy inappropriately touched himself in front of a 15 year old girl) is pretty fricked up
I don’t see how Rudy really did much wrong in the situation other than agree to an interview with a fake reporter.
Seriously compare the difference in these tweets. The Zac tweet is what everyone took off with

That isn't what I said at all. Go back and read it again. Slowly this time.

(1) The Borat video is a complete fabrication. I was tucking in my shirt after taking off the recording equipment.
At no time before, during, or after the interview was I ever inappropriate. If Sacha Baron Cohen implies otherwise he is a stone-cold liar.

(2) In fact, the NY Post today reports "it looks to me like an exaggeration through editing."
As soon as I realized it was a set up I called the police, which has been noted in THR article on July 8th.

(3) This is an effort to blunt my relentless exposure of the criminality and depravity of Joe Biden and his entire family.
Deadline Hollywood reports CAA had a distribution screening in September where there was no mention of the scene holding any importance.

(4) We are preparing much bigger dumps off of the hard drive from hell, of which Joe Biden will be unable to defend or hide from. I have the receipts.

Im going out on a limb here, but something tells me he doesn't make fun of any democratic political types. I mean, the content at some of those antifa protests alone would be great comedy. A bernie rally? Same.
but, yeah, doubt we see it.
he's pandering like the rest of them

these dudes crashed the women’s march a few years ago by pretending it was a race and it was pretty funny
LINK
no one really tries to crash or make fun of liberal causes these days, probably fear or getting canceled or labeled some “-ist” or “-phobe”

I’ll wait to see it before forming my own opinion, but several other people that have viewed said his hand was down his pants moving around for several seconds - longer time than would be necessary to tick a shift in.

It made $262M at the box office. That's great for what it cost to make the thing, but let's not pretend that's just insanely popular.
$262M for an R rated comedy in 2006 with no real plot and an actor mainly known from his Ali G skits and no one else is pretty insane. It finished 15th in box office that year, the highest grossing comedy. Like it or not, the movie was extremely relevant
For comparison to other comedies around same timeframe:
Superbad $170M
Old School $87M
Step Brothers $128M
40 Year Old Virgin $177M
The Hangover blew by them all at $469M

Your conclusion doesn't match your facts.

So would you say that basically all of the r rated comedies of the 2000s weren’t relevant? The Hangover being the only exception?

Relevant at the box office is not the same as culturally relevant. I would say Borat had no effect on the culture of our nation whatsoever.

what a time for Rudy to get caught with his hand down his pants
Can't wait to see it

oh, it's making fun of Trump and Republicans? Geeee, I wonder how the critics will respond to it
If it's funny, who cares.
I haven't hardly seen one funny skit about Trump since he took office though(SNL, Late Night hosts, etc.). So we'll see.

Didn't think this would work with him being so recognizable but recently read that it's Borat going under cover so I imagine it will be similarly authentic to the first (i hope).

There’s no reason to lampoon Trump because he’s so ridiculous and absurd already. Making him seem smart and capable would be the funny part, like SNL did with Ronald Reagan way back when.
