It doesn't really matter. I don't care as much as I used to,. I didn't even watch this BS. However, I'm a close relative of a prominent Sheriff that was involved in the proceedings.
Everyone I've stayed in touch with has the understanding that the script would be flipped and rewritten as time went by.
