The guy is an iconoclast, going after the media and calling them on their garbage. Not trying to lay out a blueprint, but the best way to beat Trump is not to charge after him or do exactly what he accuses you of doing (Fake News). Yet the media has like quintupled down on this tactic.

I often wonder what things would look like if the media somehow decided to just start playing Trump straight.

He's the president. He will and should get those questions. All the whining and bitching about the moderator on this forum shows what a bunch of entitled crybabies Trump supporters really are.

So would you say that Trump and Biden are treated equally by the media? Was Biden's townhall just like Trump's last night?

Yes, it's the dishonesty and double standards that bother people watching.

Imagine if Biden had to answer questions like that

That's what I don't understand. Why are they both interviewed by left wing media. Biden gets softballs (not a single question about his son's laptop) and Trump continues getting 'White Supremacy' and 'Q-Anon' questions. If Trump gets a left wing moderator, Biden should get one from the right.

Why should they be treated equally? Biden is not the incumbent president. Trump is and should take the questions as they come. In fairness, he did do pretty well.
It's his supporters who've been used to softballs they give him on fox and friends and expect everyone to do the same.

So that's a no. I'll give you that they can't be treated totally equally considering Trump is President and Biden never will be, but to act like it's not a huge advantage that Biden is allowed to speak for 7 minutes uninterrupted by his moderator while Trump can't even go 30 seconds without being interrupted by his is just absurd

Except, one already has a job and the people who are in charge (voters) must decide whether he's done a good job so far. That can only be done by asking the tough questions.

I am not talking about the content. I am talking about the behavior. Not once did they interrupt Biden to try to debate him. They should both get asked a question then be allowed to answer it.

Sure, let's just give the job to the other guy without asking any tough questions.

Because Biden didn't need to be constantly brought back to the question by Stephanopoulos. Meanwhile, Trump did.

likewise trump should shut his mouth when others are talking. trumps always fallback answer is antifa and the radical left.
First, he is the President of the United States. He was the focus of the town hall. Hence a modicum of respect is due him. Second, Antifa is an actual issue in this country. Until you can show me riots that have occurred for five plus months in a row that have caused hundreds of millions of damage that have been done by white supremacists or Qanon shut the hell up.

They did get the chance to answer them though. Perhaps the NBC moderator was tougher on Trump than the ABC one was on Biden. But that doesn't mean she was wrong in asking tough questions. And she had to interrupt Trump to make sure he answered the questions truthfully.
