This graph is really all that matters to me.
Now I agree that, ideally, I wouldn’t be lied to about people that died of covid vs WITH it. BUT... at the end of the day, all that really matters is how many died this year vs the typical average of how many usually die in a year. That difference is your number of covid deaths, within a reasonable degree of error.

Not really. The average age of death in general is the same as the average age of death with covid. An increase in the number of deaths can be attributed solely to an increase in the number of people of that age ... boomers are getting up there, and there are simply more people in that age bracket, so more are going to die of all causes.
If anything, from a statistical perspective, the fact that the average age of death with covid is the same as the average age of death in general, points to covid having zero overall impact on deaths. If it was having an impact, the average age of death with covid would be younger.
