There are no Wu flu survivors. You just haven't accepted your death yet.

I got the virus back in June and to be honest I don’t think I have it fully back yet. It’s weird.

Sense of smell was gone until I walked into the gym. Scent of the Iron blew nostrils wide open

Fully, not even 2 days. Freaked me the F out though. Garlic naan, cilantro and sriracha sandwiches tasted like cardboard.

Odd comment for a guy who asking for everyone to pray for him yesterday.

I still run a fever from mild exertion
Heart palpitations from exercise stopped

Headaches more mild I got vicious headaches prob my worst symptom. Mind just a little aloof these days, hard to focus

Smell is back, never lost taste

I did. They were probably totally gone for about a week. It took a while after that for my taste to get back to normal.

Am I not allowed to have a sense of humor with a heart condition? I’m bummed out to hell and back but I’m not letting it change who I am. I’m going to figure this out and kick its arse.

They black topped my road a few months ago and when I was walking this evening, I noticed two chunks of grass had recently popped out, green as can be, THROUGH 4 inches of blacktop. If that grass can find the will to survive, so can I. Right now I don’t know up from down BUT I will get there once processing everything and will figure out away to make it work.

Not yet. I do have an appointment with a different cardiologist on Thursday for a second opinion, though. Fingers crossed I get some good news for a change.

Lost smell initially; but I chalked that up to a stopped up nose and sinus pressure.

Lost taste a few days in and that was wild. I first noticed it when my toothpaste tasted very strange. Fortunately all of my symptoms mostly subsided in a few days, and taste & smell came back rather quickly.

^This was about 3 weeks ago, and I still don’t feel 100% recovered FWIW.
