Just looks worse by the day. MS State averages 8 ppg in their other 2 games and Mizzou averaged 15.5. Almost 90 points given up to mediocre offenses. This is just hard to take in from a team who is notorious for their defensive prowess. I said if we win last year I was ok without a championship for another 5-10 years. But I didn’t expect the absolute crumbling that’s happening.

Pelini is not the guy we need, but what's worse was throwing him the money we did. Dude had no prospects and LSU backed up the Brinks truck at his house.

No one else was going after him. We basically went to silent auction and bid against ourselves for garbage no one else was bidding for.

They should drop one, but probably 2 safeties 50 fricking yards away from the los until the defense can figure out Pelini's mysterious defensive scheme. I've seen better defenses in quad.

Switching coordinators and scheme without the benefit of a typical spring football schedule is akin to changing your golf swing on Wednesday before a tournament on Friday, with rain on Thursday. Not to make it that simple but that kind of shite takes time, especially with new linebackers. Better days ahead!

Don’t worry. Dave aranda, one of the best defensive minds in the game and known for making in game and in season adjustments had a bad half of football against Texas and Ole miss one time. Pelini, who’s known for sticking to his schemes and play calls come hell or high water and wifey considered a horses arse and an old school coach, will magically change his spots and fix it.
