Lol.. It around 95-96. Somebody got the idea to make one and then I think a bunch of guys started making them.

That was my thought. I suspect you and I may know some of the same people

Had some friends who made one (actually several) in college. Although potatoes are the traditional round, those things will shoot anything you stuff down the barrel. Some annoying girls in the apartment building across from those friends found that out the hard way when the decision was made to send over a wad of peeled crawfish shells via potato gun. The spread was incredible.
