An ESPN poll by state, showed the following to say yes:
Iowa
Missouri
Ohio
WVA
Okla
S Carolina
Ala
and of course, California

I think most reflect their faith in their teams, but that can't be the case for ALA. Or can it?

If one or more go undefeated, who do you think it will be.

Two chances:

Winner of USC-tOSU

Oklahoma could run through the Big X11. But then they have to play a bowl game!

They've got a tradition to uphold.

More likely this year than in recent years past.

Easiest route by Far:

WV - No top 25 road game, only top 25 home games are Auburn and South Florida.

USC - No top 25 road games... toughest one would be Ore St

I think it's better than 50/50. The Pac-10 is not very strong, nor is the Big Ten. So the OSU/USC winner should have a shot unless they stumble over a Stanford or Illinois. The Big XII looks good on paper but I'm still not sold on Texas Tech, Kansas or Missouri. Maybe Missouri but not the other two.

Big East, who knows? But West Virginia does have to play Auburn. I would say Clemson has a shot in what looks like a lot of mediocrity in the ACC but they have to play two SEC schools (Bama and USCe) that both could knock em off.

For the SEC, Florida has the best shot I believe since they get LSU at home and don't have to play Auburn or Bama. I don't think the Gators are the best SEC team, but they have the least in conference tests. To go undefeated in the SEC, you need a lot of luck. I believe Auburn is the only one to do it over the last 7 years and they did it in 2004 when LSU lost a lot of its title team from the prior year and Florida was mired in a rudderless Zook.

yeah i believe the winner of the USC/tOSU will go undefeated. after that tough match it will be easy for these teams to keep their eyes on the prize and handle there conferences with little testing

Stanford, Pitt, Arkansas, Kentucky, Illinois, Texas Tech. That's all I'm saying.

I think SC/OSU winner has a very good chance. If SC can beat OSU, every tough conference game is at home along with ND. It's a very favorable schedule and the Pac-10 is way down from where it was last year. OSU has a similar situation.

WV also has a chance if they can beat Auburn because the Big East is going to be horrible this year

If Sanchez comes through, USC will go 12-0.

Do not discount Clemson. They return a ton of starters and the ACC is still reeling with the sudden decline of FSU and Miami. Clemson has a very favorable schedule and a tremendous backfield.

Except, IMO, the Big 10 is tougher than last year, and three of our four toughest conference games (and four of five overall) are on the road, and our toughest conference game is both on the road in one of the toughest environments in the country, and at night, so we'll see.

Just because last year was one of the worst in the history of the conference. Michigan will be worse along with Illinois. Wisky and Penn st. might be a bit better but overall it's not that great.

The O-line coming through is more important than Sanchez IMO.

I see Wisky/PSU improving a little, Illini dropping a little, MSU being a lot better, and Michigan isn't going to be as bad as I initially thought they were going to be...so I'd say the conference overall will be stronger I think. Better than the PAC10 at least

yea,if Southern Cal wins they sure could since the Pac 10 is such a joke. Spare us on Notre Dame. I know historically they have been good, and its an every year game scheduled in advance for eons. But beating them this year will be no big deal.
