That’s the thing that a lot of fans are missing here. We were so spoiled by what Joe & the offense accomplished last year, we forget that just a couple short years ago we were begging for that kind of performance from an LSU QB. Myles made mistakes Saturday and had some things to work on such as pocket presence & awareness no question. For a first career start in the SEC? That’s pretty good if you ask me, especially if that’s his baseline performance. He can only learn & grow from that game, at least we hope.

Best stop making sense. That don't work around here. You need to be biatching about how Myles held on to the ball too long and that's why his arm got hit and that's why he threw the one interception and why he sucks and Coach O sucks, blah, blah, blah.

People whine about too much these days.

you can't just look at the stat line - did you watch the game?

Brennan threw the ball 46 times - he should have a lot of yards. And one of his TDs was an absolute fluke where he just chucked it up for grabs.

Sorry, but I watched every play and Brennan didn't play well, was never in command, held the ball WAY too long, has little scrambling ability, is indecisive, and was inaccurate on too many throws.

Sorry, but just looking at raw statistics doesn't tell the story. He played poorly, against a lesser SEC team, at home.

Yeah, a pipe dream back when we could actually rush the ball.

We couldn’t. We had 40+ passing attempts and were gifted 4 freaking turnovers. Looking at overall stats is not a good indication of good play. We need to sustain drives better early on and it may even help the defense (who did make stops early on.)

I do believe we get better defensively.

Yet the slapdicks on here want to go with one of the true freshman that didn’t have great high school numbers. Amazing
