With a dynamic OC-like Brady last year

One year after putting together the best offense in college football history, we need a "fresh new start?"

We had people running wide open all day long. Brennan struggled and could not get the ball to them. So what kind of offense would you rather? One that doesn’t get people wide open all of the time?

I just rewatched the "highlights" and 34 pts isn't terrible on offense. Our defense however got GASHED over and over again.

I would give our offense a C- and defense an F-. Defense is what lost us the game.

I understand what you are trying to say, but you didn't write it correctly.

We need coaches that know how to develop young talent, not just good play callers.

It's clear that we are lacking in development. Coach O has been recruiting since 2015, he should be able to find guys to keep up with a Mississippi State team breaking in a new offense and defense in their coach's first game.

At least thats what we have been told ever since he got the job, idk.

It’s not the system that’s the problem, it’s the lack of execution. It’s not what we’re doing but how we’re doing it

Run The damn ball. We have plenty of backs. Brennan clearly can’t hit checkdowns and slants. So just run the hell out the ball then try deep balls.

Receivers were open all day and the pocket was plenty there to step up into.

We need a new quarterback.

We need to play to our strength which is running the ball right now. We have 3 very talented RBs and they need to carry us until Brennan and the WRs can get some experience under their belt. Clearly, Brennan is not ready and our receivers also struggled at times. On defense, Pelini needs to protect our young DBs by playing a zone of some time. Clearly, they need to work on their footwork and technique and that will hopefully come with time. We're a young team that hopefully will grow up real fast or it could be a long season!

I’m more worried about our Defensive scheme.

Looks like O could have been blowing smoke saying that the offense would resemble last year's O.
I dont remember a single dump off to the backs??
