That’s somewhat revealing but he wasn’t setup on some of those.

Pic 1: by the time he sets that could be a pick 6.
Pic 2: he’s about to scramble from the rush.
Pic 3: that one was a straight up miss.
Pic 4: another straight up miss, perfectly set but nada
Pic 5: he’s still dropping back. Could easily have been a pick 6 if he throws off his back foot or waits to get set.
Pic 6: huge miss, blown for sure

I’m not saying he’s the guy because I’m not seeing the “it” factor but some of those could have been disasters had he thrown

He should be set and ready to throw

Pocket awareness, he could have stepped up in the pocket.

I think he's actually starting to scramble, which is a big part of the issue, no pocket awareness and leaving too early.

Look at the Dr and OL at the top. There's no way they'd be that far if Brennan was still in his normal drop back. That's Brennan wanting to leave the pocket when he has a perfect pocket to throw from.

the same could be said for every forward pass ever thrown

You can’t always have a perfect base to throw from. The Miss State QB threw many from an imperfect base. If you can’t do that, you’re not going to be a good QB. Almost all of those pics the OP posted seem to be makeable passes without a perfect base.
