Right. It's essentially the other side of the stupid BLM coin - Walker ONLY shot because they were cops. Just like the cops ONLY shot because Taylor and Walker were black.

you're side's doing great! you're really winning hearts and minds by burning down these liberal cities!

keep it up!

I know why BLM was formed. Now, is it actually factual? Have there been incidents in the past to justify it? Yes, is my answer. As far as now, not even close.
I think that BLM actually as a point, but a very, very weak one.

When you look at the raw data, it looks BAD.

But then you start norming for things like criminal history and such, the discrepancies shrink with each additional variable that you examine.

In the end, it DOES appear that Blacks get a BIT worse from the cops than Whites, but not on anything APPROACHING the scale that BLM claims.

If "0" is "no discrepancies at all" and "100" is "Cops are out hunting Black men for fun and profit," BLM would have the country believe that the problem is a 95. In reality, it is more like a plain-old 5.

The simple fact is that most people do not WANT an objective analysis of ... well, much of anything. What MOST people WANT is confirmation of their pre-existing beliefs. BLM gives them that.

But it is more complex. It is also a fact that the average human is simply not smart-enough to even UNDERSTAND the concept of norming for variables. Just look at the reaction to The Bell Curve decades ago.

MOST people lack the brainpower to SEE beyond the raw data, because "norming" requires the ability to engage in abstract thought. A certain minimal IQ is required for that undertaking. And (for whatever reason) they have lost the ability to trust explanations from those who ARE smart-enough to do the math.

So they turn to walking lobotomies like LeBron James.

ETA: Look at the post immediately preceding this one. In a scenario that requires analysis on three or four different levels, that post demonstrates the capacity for analysis on only the first of those. The capacity for abstract thought is COMPLETELY absent.

Unfortunately, this country has a lot that can’t think without feelings getting involved. Bad stuff happens everyday but only “certain” things rile up the ignorant.

Yes, there is that, also.

We see the same HERE ... every day. Folks here are just ruled by different emotions about different things, but they are no less emotional in their analysis than their counterparts at BLM. And too emotional to even see it.

I don’t think they care if it’s a 95 or 5 or 1. Any minute difference is intolerable to them. Any unequal outcome = racism. You have to view BLM through the appropriate lens, which is that of a religion (or cult). There’s not even a point in arguing with them utilizing facts. Hell, if your facts are too good they will just argue with you about how your facts are a white western way of “knowing” and doesn’t speak to their truth. You have to completely break down their fundamental philosophical ideology.

So when police are attempting to make an arrest the person being arrested can shoot police officers and argue self defense? That's what you are implying and it's pathetically stupid.

Coming from someone who hasn’t provided one ounce of value in any conversation. Boy, that’s rich.

Keep crying, princess

There you go bringing up crying again. If you dont stop being so mean you really are going to hurt my feelings.

Have you ever had an original thought? Even your attempts at insults are pedantic and boring.

Pot meet kettle. I just enjoy mocking you. Though I do wish you'd make it a bit harder. One only gets smarter by playing a smarter opponent. I guess you're just target practice until that person appears.
