Electrical Issue

Underneath my sink there is a quad outlet that my dishwasher and my disposal plug into. About two weeks ago my dishwasher stopped working and I unplugged it from one outlet and into another and it began working. Now it has stopped working all together. I think it’s an electrical issue, bcs when I plug the garbage disposal into on of the outlets, it automatically turns on. I have tried to flip the breaker on the panel and it did not seem to do anything. Anyone have this issue before?

It’s likely that two of those outlets are constantly hot and the other two are controlled by a switch. Just test all four to see which ones are which, Mark them as such, and plug the dishwasher in the hot outlet and the disposal in the switched outlet.

You can plug in light to test if you don't have a meter.

(you might)
Try replacing both of those dollar two 98 plugs and see if that solves your problem. They can go bad for no apparent reason. Sometimes it's just a bad connection; however if that deep in it's easy to replace altogether.... And please tighten that neutral (white one) way-way tight.
(of course - after flipping the correct breaker off - and with same type amperage)

And if you don't have one these.... (IMO a must for everyone)
... they're 5.97 at Home Depot.

That is the simple tool used by us Home Inspectors. I have five in my tool box now.

An electrician can probably fix you up for $100 or thereabouts.

$150 minimum. Do you know what a pain in the arse it is to hunker down under a sink?

Seems like it can only be the breaker (and it's connections), the wiring (let's hope not), and the plug (or receptacle).... or heaven forbid the dishwasher. And if not and something else, someone will point it out real quick.
So perhaps the first thing might be try an extension chord and see if the machine is aok. Next easiest would be checking the breaker; however it seems there's power at the plug. So my next look would be seeing if the plugs are working properly.... it might be there's a loose connection either where they are all jumppered together... or daisy chained.... or if a plug'n'play maybe some corrosion.
The caution besides flipping the breaker was having a loose neutral... they can heat up in a bad way if not tight... they must be able to return the unused power or unfavorable results may/will happen. So double down on that connection. It's a real fire hazard that's easily avoided.
