What kind of representative of a university would say something so stupid. Imagine how LSU fans would react if Jerkins said we aren't playing that pro team at Chapel Hill in basketball.

yea it's not like we don't have to face #5 Florida, #1 Georgia,#11 Auburn this year

I don't see how that's anywhere close to an administrator talking(behind his coaches back) about how his team can't even stay on the field with another team.

If you recall, AZ p;layed LSU twice adn their OOC schedule is more than adequate as a whole. LSU, on the other hand, tends to shy away from consistently playing tough OOC opponents. I am not defending the statement. But I find it funny that LSU fans talk about how moronic it is when LSU admin steers clear of consistently playing tough OOC opponents, but coaches make statements stating that they do so.

And what it is, is totally different. Miles said we didnt need to play a tougher schedule BECAUSE we had a very tough SEC Schedule.
