Trump will nominate.
The Senate will confirm.
I don’t understand how anyone can think this won’t happen. Trump gets shite done.
Quickly.

Voters Should Pick the President and the President Should Pick the Justice

This was the position the Republican Senate took in 2016

Personally, I don't think there will be any issue on Trump's end if he's defeated, less and except the expected litigation to come. But that's also a legitimate component of our government's process.
Unless I missed your point, in which case please clear me up on that.
**But I am apprehensive about a seemingly militant stance by the left side. Honest observation.

No. The voters picked Hillary Clinton by a margin of approx. 3 million votes.
Hahahahaha. This is a constitutial republic, not a democracy. Hillary lost because she forgot that and ignored a large part of the population that (thankfully) still has a voice in the Republic.

We picked Donald J Trump for just this moment in History. Demented Joe just spitting out the words written for him.

Where politics are concerned, absofrickinglutely.
Democrats have understood this for a few decades. Time for Republicans to join the fight.

Again, the left loves to wail, gnash their teeth and rend their garments over “hypocrisy”. Being moral relativists, they have no moral high ground; therefore, it’s all they’ve got.

Does a President lose the ability the nominate a Justice the day his second term begins if the opposition controls the Senate?
Nope. The President can nominate right up to the last day in office. It's the check from the Senate that balances the move.
Does that answer your question?
