during the week i like samuels. only i'm boycotting them bc they share 1 highchair between 2 restaurants and its never at samuels. who the hell ever heard of that!!!
picadilly has a cheap breakfast on the weekends with your basic stuff. so does the holiday inn on airline. coffee bean has breakfast..not a whole lot on their menu but their bk sammiches are good.

If you're closer to downtown, Christina's, right off government near the Centroplex, is really good

Frank's
Samuels
CCLA on a Sunday
but, when i lived in BR i rarely went out for breakfast. Hell, live in New Orleans and i haven't been to a brunch in over a year. I just don't get waiting in line for breakfast, or having to dress up and deal with tourists.

Too much white trash, once removed.
I like Christina's and Samuel's does a respectable job.
Broken Egg is good as well.
If they would ever get some good service the Cake Palace on Essen has a good breakfast. Standard stuff and a nice little joint. Just the service sucks.

I've lived here all my life and have never been to Frank's. I never wake up early enough I guess.

Had franks today. Just something about smoking your own meat on site.... bacon and sausage are gravy... Very solid omelettes and be sure to ask for "center" biscuits that are perfectly cooked. The outside ones are always burned.

Louie's = one of the most overrated places in all of Baton Rouge. Only reason it ever makes a list is because 90% of the people eating there are too drunk to know what it actually tastes like. They have good potatos everything else is very average.
