Very underrated in my opinion. The first time I heard him was on XM and heard Tonight/You Shook Me All Night Long. It was the perfect song for someone who grew up in a small town in Texas.
ETA: I lived in a town in east Texas less than 2000 people, so I could relate.

Loving county is one of my favorites and the live version is so damn good. He is a good story teller
