I had to reply to that idiot. I asked him what would he do if he was in his vehicle and that happened to him. The idiot replied back "So you would shoot someone for simply breaking into your house? What is wrong with you. Is that really work taking someone's life? Maybe they are in trouble and just having to do what they have to to find food, etc, etc" I am paraphrasing just because I don't remember the exact words, but his white guilt was strong.
What else was the cops supposed to do. They could have rolled down the windows and started shooting..

sorry but if someone breaks into my home while I am there or my family is there, they intend to cause bodily harm, otherwise they would wait until they knew i was gone. If they are there to harm me....well I am prepared.

All I wanted was for some 6'6" black as night CHP trooper in a drill sergeant hat to come out of that cruiser and start wrecking house with a baton. I would pay good money to see that.
