Is he a good coach who has suffered through horrible injury luck or was he a guy who was propped up by a good set of assistant coaches?

Since their Super Bowl, they have a couple of 9-7 seasons and middle of the pack offenses.

Wentz is injury prone and turnover prone which doesn't help.

Should have kept Big Dick Foles. Wentz is brutal.

As the HC of The Eagles:

7-9
13-3 (Super Bowl Champs)
9-7
9-7

Yes he's good coach. Probably a pretty good coach. At least he's won his division and had winning records after his Super Bowl win and won a playoff game after winning the Super Bowl. There are a lot of bum arse coaches who win a Super Bowl and flame the frick out.

Before that super bowl run people thought he was completely clueless.

Hard to figure out what’s what because every year they seem to have half their team just explode before week 5.

That's what I'm saying. I'm having a hard time getting a read on him because of the injuries. But they keep blowing games and just never looking great even against bad teams.

They need a new training staff or something

It seems ridiculous that an NFL team would have that issue but as we’ve seen with other teams (New Orleans especially) just because you’ve worked for an NFL team for a long time, doesn’t mean you are worth a shite as a training staff

Good coach who got hot calling plays at the right time.

The organization picking Wentz was stupid as hell. He is injury prone and not really that good.

I honestly would have kept both Foles and Wentz. Wentz plays the first 10 games, Foles plays the rest of the season.

Yes...although they need to seriously consider moving on from Wentz and his injuries

He was the favorite for MVP when he tore his ACL near the end of Super Bowl season, and the players ranked him #3 in their top 100 list.

The Eagles might need to eventually move on soon, but that's some ridiculous hindsight to suggest drafting him was stupid.

He’s a good coach - they’ve had some really shitty injury luck, but they’ve also had some terrible drafts the last few years.

For a win-now team they drafted Jalen Hurts this year which is completely daft. Their 1st round pick last year is a bust (Dillard). They haven’t done themselves any favors in the FO.

I didn't say drafting him was stupid. Pick him over Foles was stupid. Could have gotten more for a trade for Wentz. Then they gave him that big contract for no reason

I mean you say this like Foles is setting the world on fire

Foles also got paid and sucked arse way worse than wentz ever has and couldn’t beat out Mitchell the bitchell

That’s the type of coach Jerry Jones wants. A 9-7 coach that has that one magical season.

So then why pay either of them if you can just plug anyone in there

Actually I don’t have the care to have this dumb system QB argument, it’s so silly at this point

Well he’s one of 7-8 current coaches with a Super Bowl win, so ya, I’d say he’s good.
